Handmade Encouragement Card

img_4200

Hello friends! I am very satisfied with this project. The embellishments that I used fits together. Since I started creating mixed media cards I am so obsess with layered cards. I am still new to mixed media art but I think I am getting better at it. On my next project I am thinking of creating a card or tag that has a bright color background. I’ve been doing a lot of dark color background so I guess it’s time to try to make it a little brighter… 🙂 I hope you like this project and thank you for stopping by.

You Inspire Me Card + Distress Ink

img_4116

Greetings! I like how this card turned out. Honestly it took me at least two days to finish this because I was having problems making up my mind on what embellishments to incorporate. I wanted to put mix flowers but it would look too busy. So I decided to just use leaves stencil and applied texture paste and colored it green using distress inks. The butterfly that I included in this card is from “The Paper Studio Everyday Kraft” scrapbook paper which is awesome. I also added leaves embellishment and applied distress ink to get that dry leaf effect. This card will be up for sale in my Etsy store which will open very soon. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you like this card.

Simple I Love You Tag + Stamping + Distress Ink

fullsizerender

Hello! Here is another simple tag I’ve created. I’m not feeling a bit well so I decided to create something that is simple and will not take a lot of time. Instead of using acrylic paint, I applied distress ink, honeycomb and circular stamps using the stamp sets from Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz that I just bought at Michaels. Before I did any stamping and distressing, I applied gesso first on both sides of the tag. I hope you like it. Thank you for looking.
